These Terms govern your use of English with Arik (the “Service”), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME]. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

The Service provides TOEFL iBT practice activities and mock tests, including automated (AI‑assisted) scoring of Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking. All scores, bands, and CEFR levels are unofficial estimates for practice only. They are generated by automated systems, may contain errors, and do not predict or guarantee any official test result.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • One account per person unless we agree otherwise.

4. Plans, credits & payment

  • Some features require a paid subscription tier or consumable “scored credits.”
  • Payments are currently arranged manually (e.g. via WhatsApp); your plan or credits are activated by us after payment is confirmed.
  • Subscription allowances reset each calendar month and do not roll over. Purchased scored credits do not expire.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non‑refundable. [Insert your refund/cancellation policy.]
  • Prices are shown in [currency] and may change with notice for future billing periods.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute test content, questions, or answers.
  • Attempt to access answer keys or other users’ data, or circumvent security, quotas, or rate limits.
  • Share, sell, or publish our content, or use it to train competing models, without permission.
  • Reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service.
  • Use the Service for anything unlawful.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its questions, passages, audio, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. You receive a limited, personal, non‑transferable licence to use it for your own exam preparation. You retain ownership of the responses and recordings you submit, and grant us the licence needed to process them to provide the Service (see the Privacy Policy).

7. AI‑generated content

Feedback and scores are produced by automated systems and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Use them as practice guidance only, not as professional, academic, or official assessment.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or that scores will be accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or exam outcomes. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the [12] months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Account & data. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Indonesia / your jurisdiction], and disputes are subject to the courts of [city / jurisdiction], without prejudice to any mandatory consumer‑protection rights you have where you live.
